LESSON #1 - Get the right materials
In order to get to the Milky Way the first things you need are the right materials. Now there are several different ways to
get to the Milky Way but I'll teach you the easiest. Here is a list of the materials you'll need:
1)2 chairs (if two people
are going)
2)a lot of string
3)10-15 balloons
4)a blanket (incase it gets cold)
5)pillows
6)tape
Those
are all the things you'll need for now. Now move on to lesson #2.
LESSON #2 - Building the ship
Now I'll tell you how to build the ship! Tee-hee!
1)Take the two chairs and set them one in front of the other. (like
in a bus)
2)Use the string to tie the chairs together. Not too tightly though. You have to have room for your feet. Make
sure they are tied together securly!
3)Now take those ballons and tie them to the chairs. Did I mention that the ballons
have heluim in them?? Also make sure that the ballons are securly tied!
4)Now you ship is built and ready for lift off...but
you now you need supplies like food! Onward to lesson 3!
LESSON #3 - The essentials
Now you need to get food and water, also get out those blankets and pillows I told you to bring. You might also want a cooler
so the food doesn't spoil.
1)Take a large basket (e.x. a clothes hamper) and securly tie it to the end of the last chair.
2)Put all of your food and pillows and blankets in there.
3)Get a covering for your basket so nothing falls out.
4)Here
is a list of food you should bring...
Water (lots)
Milk (hey, your going to the MILKY way.)
Bread
Cearel (or
however youu spell it)
Fruits
Veggies
Meat like ham or something (if you have a cooler, if not bring dry meat
like beef jerky)
Cookies
Cheese
LESSON #4 - Take off
Now you're ready to go to the milky way! You've got all your ship ready and you have all of your supplies right? Good,
I order to take off you have to be outside, I mean c'mon you're not going to fly through the roof!
1. Bring your ship to a large, steep hill (preferably grassy)
2. Lift up your chair, and have your friend lift up their chair
3. Run as fast as you can towards the edge of the hill, it's good to build up a lot of speed.
4. Jump off the edge of the hill and sit down in your chair and watch as the balloons do the rest!
YAY! You just took off. Now you are going to the Milky Way. I've instructed you on what to do so far but when you get
there feel free to do whatever you want. (Stefi is not responsible for any injures you may recieve while doing
